When you use MTD4Trade, we collect:
Receipt images are sent to Google Gemini for text extraction and data structuring. Images are processed transiently and are not used to train or improve Gemini's underlying models. You can review and edit all extracted data before saving.
All data is stored on Supabase (hosted in the UK/Europe region). Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. We implement strict Row-Level Security ensuring each user can only access their own data.
We do not sell your data. We share personal data only with: Supabase (database and file storage) and Google Cloud (Gemini) (AI receipt data extraction). Your financial data is yours.
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to access, correct, delete your data, and object to processing. Contact us to exercise any of these rights.
This website does not use tracking cookies. Cloudflare may set essential cookies for security and performance. No personal data is collected through cookies on this site.

MTD4Trade helps sole traders and tradespeople meet HMRC Making Tax Digital requirements by capturing receipts, tracking expenses and mileage, and recording income for quarterly reporting. The app does not provide accounting, tax, or legal advice. You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for final submission decisions made to HMRC.
MTD4Trade is offered as a subscription with the following options: Monthly (£6.99), Yearly (£69), and Early Adopter (£3.99/month). New subscribers may be offered a 14-day free trial. Unless you cancel before the end of any free trial, your subscription begins and payment is taken through your App Store or Google Play account. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Early Adopter pricing is locked for approximately the first 200 subscribers; after this allocation is filled, that product is no longer offered.
You can cancel an auto-renewing subscription at any time through your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are provided for unused periods. Refunds are handled in accordance with the applicable store's refund policy (Apple App Store or Google Play).
You agree not to misuse the app, attempt to access another user's data, use the app for unlawful purposes, or interfere with the operation of the service. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are breached.
MTD4Trade and all associated content, branding, and software are the property of Connect Solutions Ltd. You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the app in accordance with these terms.
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Connect Solutions Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the MTD4Trade app.
